Packing up my bags today
Looking for a ride
Packing up my bags today
Heading for the other side
Still looking fo ra laugh
I'm like a photograph
I'm like a photograph in time

Images keep coming back
Faces never change
Everyone keeps coming back
Looking for the same
Thing that I need to find
Inside that photograph
Inside that photograph of mine

Eyes met on the subway train
She was a girl from school
Played her old songs with a sad refrain
Like they were all brand new
I know that she loved me, well
At least I've got a photograph
An old yellow photograph this time

I change the words so many times
that run trought my head
I write the ending so that I
Can never feel regret
Sometimes I've got to laugh
I can't change that photograph
I've got a photograph of time

Looking through that litte book
The very last page
Counting all the times I took
Pictures never age
Funny how things never change
I'm like a photograph
Inside a photograph of time.
