When I'm travelin' down
Southbound on a plane
Thinkin'of you Babe
And all the good times we had today
Oh I wish I could have stayed

Watch how the year goes swiftly by
What will it bring for you and I
I don't think that the music dies
I think it carries on

Woke up in Lonclon
Tryin' to find someone I'd know
You know it ain't easy
When your love light's bumin' low
And the big wheel turns and rolls

Watch how the year goes swiftly by
What will it bring for you and I
I don't think that the music dies
I think it carries on

Down and down and down
I burn my candle to the end
Round and round and round
I turn my pages
Everywhere I look
I see the light around the bend
I know the light will never end
I know it carries on again

And I'm thinkin' 'bout
Some things that I forgot to say
Got a feelin' in me
A longin' to be home again
Oh I wish I could have stayed

Watch how the year goes swiftly by
What will it bring for you and I
I don t think that the music dies
I think it carries on
I know it carries on
I know it carries on
