Glass heroes

Written by:
Frank Carillo
Track released on:
Frank Carillo and the Bandoleros "Someday" album.

I didn't know what was true
But I found out like I always do
Just a little too late, again.

Sometimes it's hard to change you mind
What you believed, but then you find
Was just a pretty story you've been told

chorus:
All the heroes are made of glass
Noting lasts
Fading fast
All the hearoes are made of clay
Here today
Just to wash away

One by one I've watchd them go
They disappeared like puffs of smoke
Another pretty story to be told
And all this time I fooled myself
Into believing something else
As I slowly watch the circle close

chorus:
All the heroes are made of glass
Noting lasts
Fading fast
All the hearoes are made of clay
Here today
Just to wash away

The things I feel
Disappointment doesn't show
Srumbling over words
So hard to let it go

I've got love all around
The only thing that I've found
That will stay with me wherever I go

chorus:
All the heroes are made of glass
Noting lasts
Fading fast
All the hearoes are made of clay
Here today
Just to wash away
