Kooymans & Carillo.
George Kooymans and Frank Carillo will be back on Dutch stages during a small Summertour 2011.They will play with the Barking Dogs: Bob Langenberg on Drums, Ocki Klootwijk on bass and Tyn Smit on keys.
If you ever seen Frank perform live, you know he has a lot of guitars.
Here you can find some info about the gear frank uses.
" As you can see nearly all of my electric guitars are Gretsch. My first good guitar was a Gretsch. People aske my why I don’t have other electrics. Some people gravitate to Fenders and have a ton them or Gibsons. I like the Gretsch sound and feel. Also, it reminds me of when I started to play seriously. I got my first one in 1961.
In 2006 Frank and George Kooymans both bought this guitar at the same time.
Frank:" I loved this guitar the minute I saw it. But I saw it for the first time in the late ‘50s on a Bo Diddley album! When Gretsch came out with the new version I got one and (so did George). It plays great, sounds great and I added a few personal touches to it. I put a picture of the Hindu god Shiva between the pickups and a Dark Horse Records sticker on the wing. I think it makes it sound better.

Frank:" This was a gift from Brian Setzer. It’s one of the first prototypes. I used it quite extensively through the ‘90s and into the new century. It’s gotten a bit road scarred so lately I use it mostly on sessions but I’m thinking of taking her out for another spin. I think this is my favorite Gretsch as it sounds amazing and has a lot of sentimental value.

Frank:" This was a gift from my wife. It plays like a dream, TV Jones pickups and an all gold finish. It’s one of my favorites.

This guitar used as backup for the gold Gretsch 6120

Frank:" This is probably my main acoustic. It sounds amazing and is a one of a limited edition. It’s been beaten up a bit (as most of my guitars tend to be). It records amazingly well. It’s got a big voice and beautiful tone. Again, I’ve been keeping her home as of late a using a Gibson Hummingbird live (another great sounding acoustic).
